Terms and conditions

This page records the current owner-confirmed operating practices of DCT Service. It is not yet a complete lawyer-approved transport contract. Mandatory Dutch and EU law remains applicable. Transport classification, consumer rights, liability and dispute provisions require qualified Dutch legal review.

Business

DCT Service is the public brand of a sole proprietorship registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KVK 99740265 and VAT number NL005407408B47. Registered trade-name information includes D.C. Service and DCT-Service. Business address: De Pionier 7, De Rips. Contact: info@dct-service.nl and +31 6 84052790.

The exact formulation including the owner's personal legal name has not been established and must be confirmed before final legal approval.

Customers, requests and contract formation

DCT Service serves businesses and private consumers. Submitting a website, account or quote request does not automatically create a transport contract. DCT Service reviews the request and confirms the price. The transport is confirmed only after the parties accept the offer.

Territory and performance

Current services concern transport within the Netherlands. DCT Service currently performs transport through the business and people working for it and does not outsource transport jobs to external carriers or subcontractors.

DCT Service has not been legally classified as a carrier, freight forwarder, intermediary or otherwise. AVC, CMR, FENEX and other sector conditions have not been contractually adopted.

Price, VAT and payment

  • Consumers receive the total price including applicable VAT and mandatory additional charges before concluding a contract.
  • For business customers, the agreed quote is stated excluding VAT; applicable VAT is added to the invoice.
  • The payment term for private customers is 14 days. The normal maximum term for business customers is 33 days unless a different period was individually agreed in advance.
  • Accepted methods are bank transfer, cash and iDEAL. Payment cards are not currently accepted.
  • Late payment is followed by a reminder, then a warning or formal notice and, where appropriate, legal recovery. No voluntary interest, penalty or collection-cost percentage has been adopted.

Cancellation and changes — legal review required

A customer may request cancellation or a change after confirmation. Before driver departure, it may be accepted without an outbound travel charge. After departure for or arrival at the loading location, the intended policy is to charge the applicable outbound travel cost. Once loading or performance has begun, the intended policy is 50% of the agreed transport price.

This policy has not been established as enforceable against consumers. It does not limit mandatory consumer rights or waive any potentially applicable withdrawal right. Its application and reasonableness require qualified Dutch consumer-law review.

Delay

DCT Service informs the customer of a delay. No automatic compensation scheme has been adopted. This page does not exclude liability for delay and does not affect mandatory rights.

Damage, loss and notification

Please report damage or loss preferably within 7 days through info@dct-service.nl, by telephone or WhatsApp at +31 6 84052790. Include clear photographs, the invoice or other evidence of value and the order or shipment number. Seven days is an operational request, not an automatic forfeiture of statutory rights.

Claims are handled under the insurance arrangements and circumstances actually applicable. The insurance type, coverage and any compensation have not been confirmed; compensation is not guaranteed.

Liability and transport law

No approved contractual liability limit exists. This page does not establish a liability ceiling. The applicable rules require review of the insurance policy, legal transport role and governing transport law.

Consumers and disputes

The application of pre-contract information duties, cooling-off or withdrawal rules and performance during any withdrawal period has not been legally reviewed for this transport service. No approved provisions currently establish governing law, dispute resolution or jurisdiction.
